Our Approach
At Sprout & Learn, our approach blends the freedom of homeschooling with the support of a structured, nurturing learning environment. We focus on project-based, multisensory experiences that engage students deeply and make learning fun, meaningful, and connected to real life.
Our days are thoughtfully balanced with:
- Independent academic work, where students follow their personalized curriculum at their own pace with gentle guidance
- Enrichment classes that spark creativity and curiosity through STEM, art, cooking, theatre, life skills, and more
- Hands-on activities and group projects that build collaboration, problem-solving skills, independence, and confidence
We recognize that no two learners are the same. That’s why we create flexible, student-centered experiences that allow each child to grow in the way that’s right for them.
Our goal is to provide a safe, encouraging space where kids feel empowered to ask questions, explore their interests, try new things, and enjoy the process of learning.

Sprout & Learn was born from my personal journey as a homeschooling mom. As I searched for a non-traditional learning environment for my own children, I realized how many families were looking for the same thing—spaces where kids can explore, create, and develop a genuine love for learning in their own unique way.
Through homeschooling, I witnessed firsthand the power of individualized education. When children are given the freedom to pursue their interests, learn at their own pace, and receive guidance in a nurturing environment, their confidence grows and their curiosity flourishes. I wanted to build a community that supports not only academic growth, but also emotional well-being, creativity, and meaningful social connections.
At Sprout & Learn, learning is hands-on, engaging, and purposeful. We cultivate an environment where children feel safe to try new things, express themselves, and develop the critical thinking skills that will serve them throughout life. We embrace the belief that education is not one-size-fits-all and are committed to meeting each child exactly where they are—celebrating their strengths and guiding them through challenges with patience and kindness.
Together, we are reimagining education by creating a space where children can sprout, grow, and flourish—supported by personalized learning, a strong sense of community, and the confidence to make a positive impact in the world.
Meet Ms. Taylor
Taylor Bell is originally from Georgia and loves to cheer on the National Champion Bulldawgs! She has served as a Florida public school teacher: six years in first grade, two years of kindergarten, and years of preschool and VPK prior. She has both a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Masters degree in Elementary Education- with a concentration in early childhood literacy. Taylor also has a valid Florida teaching license and is certified in the subjects of K-12 ESOL, Elementary Education, and is fully reading endorsed. She considers herself a very hands on, over the top teacher who loves theme transformations, immersive learning, holiday celebrations, science experiments, read-alouds, and authentic learning experiences rooted in connection. She is also very passionate about wildlife conservation and previously worked as a wildlife ambassador at the Central Florida Zoo. Taylor owns a customizable embroidery apparel brand, has a miniature husky named Wolfie, and loves spending time with her high school sweetheart at the beach.
Meet Mrs. Kelly
Mrs. Kelly brings warmth, wisdom, and decades of hands-on experience to our 6–8-year-old group at Sprout & Learn. A devoted mom of five and proud grandmother of four, she’s been caring for and teaching children since her teen years.
She began in daycare, continuing as a Head Start teacher assistant, and later became an active parent volunteer and Policy Council member.
She has a natural ability to connect with young learners and offers a calm, supportive presence, especially for children with ADHD or those on the autism spectrum. Her nurturing approach helps every child feel seen, valued, and capable.
Since relocating to Florida from Pennsylvania four years ago, Mrs. Kelly has continued her work with children while also homeschooling her two youngest children, fostering cats, and volunteering with a local animal rescue. Whether in the classroom or at home, she leads with compassion, patience, and a deep commitment to helping others grow.
Meet Ms. Ashley
Ashley is excited to join Sprout & Learn as the theatre teacher. She has been teaching since 2023, the same year she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of West Florida. Since then, she has continued performing while sharing her passion for the arts with young performers.
Ashley discovered her love for musical theatre in middle school and is especially passionate about helping students at that same age discover their own confidence and creativity through theatre. She was also part of the opening team for The Untrainable Dragon show at Epic Universe, performing as a singer.
Ashley enjoys growing both on stage and in the classroom, and she looks forward to inspiring the next generation of performers at Sprout & Learn.
