Kids CREATE Lab Workshops

Hands-On Learning. Real-World Skills. Brighter Futures.

Kids CREATE Lab brings hands-on learning to homeschoolers through engaging workshops built around creativity, technology, problem-solving, entrepreneurship, and design.

Our workshops give kids the opportunity to create, experiment, collaborate, and turn their ideas into something real. Each experience introduces students to skills connected to the CREATE Lab program while keeping learning active, practical, and fun.

Designed for ages 7–13.

Students won't necessarily work in every CREATE area during every workshop. Instead, each experience focuses on different skills while helping children build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving abilities.

What Does CREATE Stand For?

Our CREATE philosophy represents the areas we want students to explore throughout our workshops and future programming:

C — Communication
R — Robotics
E — Entrepreneurship

A — Art & Design
T — Technology
E — Engineering

What does it take to turn a simple idea into a business?

During our Junior Shark Tank: Lemonade Stand Challenge, students will work through the process of developing their own lemonade stand concept—from the first big idea to the final pitch.

Students will explore planning, budgeting, pricing, branding, decision-making, teamwork, and communication as they develop their business idea.

The goal isn't simply to create a lemonade stand. It's to give kids an age-appropriate introduction to entrepreneurship and real-world problem solving while allowing them to make decisions, think creatively, and share their ideas.

During the Workshop Kids Will

  • Develop their own lemonade stand business concept
  • Work within a simple startup budget
  • Make decisions about supplies and pricing
  • Create a name and basic brand for their business
  • Think about customers and marketing
  • Practice teamwork and communication
  • Prepare a short business pitch
  • Present their idea Junior Shark Tank-style

No previous business experience is needed. Just bring your ideas and be ready to create!
